The restaurant has a very cool vibe. The spacious, open layout with high ceilings, rustic decor, and fun wall art create a unique and welcoming atmosphere. The friendly and attentive staff only add to the pleasant dining experience.
Local Union 271 offers both daily brunch and dinner, but my family and I decided to indulge in brunch this weekend. While my daughter has enjoyed dinner here with friends, I’ve only visited for brunch a few times. In my opinion, they serve the best brunch in the area, making it a must-visit for brunch lovers!
The menu is diverse, with plenty of healthy options, fantastic drinks, and well-seasoned, delicious food. Additionally, their seasonal offerings change often, ensuring you always have something new to look forward to.. The portions are also generous, making leftovers a treat for the next day.
My Go-To: Eggs Benedict
I can never resist their Eggs Benedict. Whether I choose the version with avocado, spinach, and tomato, or opt for the smoked salmon, it’s always a hit. They also offer variations with chorizo or bacon for meat lovers.
I also love their 0 Proof cocktail, “The Botanical,” a refreshing blend of muddled fresh mint, orange, lime, and ginger ale.
My Husband’s Favorite: 3-Item Scramble or Omelet

Our daughter is a pancake enthusiast, and her favorite is their Meyer Lemon and Blueberry Ricotta Pancakes. She also loves their house lemonade, which comes in a variety of flavors, including fresh mint, blackberry, raspberry jalapeño, and her top choice, lychee.

A huge plus is that you can make reservations for brunch, a rarity in the area, which is something my family really appreciates as it makes planning easier and more convenient for us.
