Green Apple Chhunda & Goat Cheese Crostini

Ingredients

  • 1 baguettesliced diagonally into ½inch slices (approx. 18 slices)
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • salt, as needed
  • fresh cracked black pepper
  • 4 oz. (113 g) log of goat cheese (classic chevre), softened at room temperature
  • ½ cup of prepared Green Apple Chhunda/Chhundo

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F, with rack on upper middle position.
  • Line a large baking sheet with aluminum foil.
  • Place baguette slices in a single layer on the baking sheet.
  • Drizzle olive oil evenly over the baguette slices.
  • Sprinkle salt and black pepper.
  • Toast in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, flipping them half way through. 
  • Take them out of the oven and let them cool for 5 minutes or so.
  • Smear the goat cheese on the toasted baguette slices.
  • Spoon a generous dollop of Green Apple Chhunda/Chhundo on top of each crostini.
